This past year I came across this new product, The Bow Spider. Most of the time, I’m fairly skeptical of new products but not this time. My initial thought here, “Game-changer!” As a back country bow hunter my bow is normally strapped to my pack as I’m attempting to handle the terrain from point A to point B. Sure, not carrying your bow in your hands saves on arm fatigue and/or banging your bow across the trees and rocks, but your not ready when that opportunity, the one you’ve trained all year for, presents itself. The Bow Spider is the solution. With its simple design, being able to reach back and slide my bow off my pack and be ready in seconds is worth its weight in gold to me. Then as every hunter knows, not all opportunities work out. Just reach back and slide the bow back onto the pack ensures I can get back to covering ground quickly and keep looking for that trophy. The Bow Spider is a must have and might just give you that advantage that you need.

I have hunted from Africa to South America and a lot of places in between and I have to truly say that the Bow Spider has became an essential part of my hunting gear. I used to tie My bow to my back with anything I could find bungee cords, extra straps off my pack whatever it may be five minutes to put it on five minutes to take it off! Bow spider has truly changed that this two minute install onto your backpack allows you to put your bow on your back and remove it within seconds, it’s truly an amazing product looking forward to using it through all my hunting adventures including my up-and-coming mountain goat hunt on the peninsula of Alaska. Thank you David Merrill very much for this product sincerely.

I purchased your Bow Spider awhile back and got a chance to mount it on my pack this year for a hunt in Idaho. I put this system to the test on this hunt and it worked great in all situations. I hiked many miles of trails, timber, brush and an occasional cliffy area which allowed me to use both hands to climb and hang on. The other guys always had their bow in one hand or the other. It worked well in all those situations and is easy and quick to remove if needed. I also spent many miles riding on single track trails on my dirt bike and I was very pleased how well it rode and handled some very extreme trail riding. I would recommend the Bow Spider to all archery hunters.

Shortly before archery season last fall I decided to purchase the Bow Spider package plus extra pucks for additional mounting locations for my pack and truck. I don’t use the phrase "game changer" very often but I’m 100% honest when I say… this changed the way I hunt for the better! It’s a game changer! With access to my bow and being able to keep my hands free, multiple ways, it really made my life chasing elk so much easier! Just the simplicity of it and all the ways you can utilize your bow without fatigue, truly amazing! Not to mention shooting in the summer time at places like TAC (Total Archery Challenge) or NWMC (NW Mountain Challenge) you can hike, climb, and traverse with ease. Add walking sticks and it’s a whole new world! Even as simple as loading up in the truck and hanging your bow on the back of the seat, allowing for easy access and your pack stays dry and clean on the back seat now instead of throwing it in the bed to bounce around. I highly suggest investing in your future of bow hunting and shooting by picking this system up, you’ll thank me later!

I have been bow hunting 35 years I have seen lots of innovative ideas come and go. This year I started hunting with the Bow Spider and I do not know how I lived without it! I have several now for my pack, my truck and in my tree stand. In my truck my bow is secured and safe on even the roughest roads. On my pack I can be hands free to climb and move. But in all situations my bow is always quickly and conveniently available for access. After 30 years and over 100 archery kills Bow Spider is one of the most innovative advances for the hardcore Bow hunter.

The Bow Spider is the nicest and quickest way to carry a bow while hunting! Free up both hands and when you need it you just grab the bow and lift. I have them on every pack and on both seats in the truck! Must have if you are an archery hunter!

I bought the Complete Bow Spider Kit at Total Archery Challenge (TAC) in Pennsylvania knowing that I wanted a fast light weight system for my back pack hunt in Colorado later in the year. I used the Bow Spider the entire 3D course at Pennsylvania and again at TAC in Park City Utah. I can testify if I had to keep my bow in hand, I would have been beyond exhausted on my Elk hunt in Colorado. Two times we had gotten off trail chasing elk and I know in my heart that having two hands free to navigate the steep slippery hills that Bow Spider kept my bow safe so that I could safely navigate the terrain. If I didn’t have the Bow Spider, I would have had to throw my Hoyt to grab a rock to keep from falling. Multiple times I needed two hands to scale the terrain that I wasn’t accustom to and on the long hikes I was able to grab a drink from the camel back or read On-X without having to fumble for a spare hand. I have run the system on my Kuiu pack, on the headrest of my truck (no bulky bow case) and now on my saddle belt, no need for a hoist rope. I can’t say enough good about Bow Spider.

I bought my Bow Spider last year or year & half ago. I absolutely love it. Carrying my equipment hands free in the field has made my hunting so much more easier. It has also made my TAC game that much better as well, because of less fatigue from not having to hold onto my bow for 3 days all day…Let me tell you, you get some funny looks when you throw a recurve on your back & go!!

I have had the opportunity to use the Bow Spider for a full season now. I currently run with a Molle receiver on my hip and one on the top of my pack. I love how versatile, easy, and quiet it is to retrieve my bow when needed. I have used the receiver in my truck to transport my bow and also have one mounted at home to mount my bow for easy access for training. I would highly recommend adding a Bow Spider to your archery gear!

I have tried many types of slings over the years with little success. Once you throw a pack on they never seem to work the way I needed them to. With the Bow Spider, I put it on my pack and hike in or ride in with no problem. I have an extra on my waist as well to hold my bow while glassing. We were able to load our packs with a quarter and then attach our bow and pack out. I have them around both seats as well to place my bow in the truck while driving. Big fan of the system and will be using for the rest of my bow hunting trips!
